CEM Launches School Leaders’ Seminar Series

The Center for Educational Measurement, Inc., will hold the first run of its new professional development program series designed specifically for school administrators on June 25, 2019 at Hotel Benilde Maison De La Salle, Arellano corner Estrada Streets, Malate, Manila. The first seminar-workshop in the series entitled Change Management: The Proactive School Leader, aims to help build the competencies of school administrators in managing 21st century schools.

It is divided into two (2) sessions: Session 1: Instructional Leadership: Leading the 21st century schools emphasizes the important roles of school administrators in leading and managing change in 21st century schools and covers topics on (1) The 21st Century School Leadership: Learning Leaders, Change Leaders; (2) Leading and Managing Change and the Process of Change in Educational Institutions; and (3) Leading the Professional Learning Community.

Session 2: Technological Leadership: Using technology in the 21st century classrooms focuses on effective educational technology leadership to support student learning inside 21st century classrooms and highlights themes on (1) Satisfying pedagogical practices using technology; (2) Supporting conditions for successful technology integration; and (3) Maximizing Open and Inclusive Solutions.

These sessions will be facilitated by Dr. Anne Marie R. Ramos and Dr. Jasper Vincent Q. Alontaga, respectively, in collaboration with CEM’s Professional Development Section. Both are members of the faculty of Educational Leadership and Management Department of De La Salle University. This event is exclusive to CEM Member Schools in Metro Manila.
