Every September, it is a tradition for CEM to gather its member schools in an event that showcases the company’s innovations, extension services, and other efforts to support the Philippine education, especially in the field of assessment and research. This year, CEM is holding its 39th Annual Anniversary Conference in three venues: EDSA Shangri-La Hotel for Manila on September 8, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino for Cebu on September 15 and The Royal Mandaya Hotel for Davao on September 22.
The theme, “Leading Our Schools to Success”, will be elaborated by five distinguished keynote speakers: Sen.Francis Joseph G. Escudero, Senate Committee Chair for Education,Arts and Culture for the Manila venue; Dr. Christopher C. Bernido, School President, Central Visayan Institute Foundation and Dr. Juliet A. Jeruta, OIC-Office of the Regional Director, DepEd Regional Office VII for Cebu; and Rev. Fr. Joel E. Tabora, SJ, President, Ateneo de Davao University for Davao.
Another highlight of the event is the awarding of school leaders who exhibited exemplary contributions in leading their respective institutions, improving instruction, developing teachers, leading research, and engaging the community with the CEM School Leadership Excellence (SLEx) Award.
