CEM's Impactful Presence at ICEME 2023

CEM proudly took part in the International Conference on Educational Measurement and Evaluation (ICEME) 2023, an annual gathering organized by the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation Association, Inc. (PEMEA). This event, which focused on the theme, "Learning Loss Assessment and Recovery:
Relevance and Directions in Post-Pandemic”, was held on August 24 to 26, 2023 at the Diamond Hotel, Manila.

During the conference, CEM had the distinct privilege of seeing its President and CEO, Dr. Grace H. Aguiling-Dalisay, recognized with the Honorary Membership Award. This recognition, the highest honor conferred by PEMEA, pays tribute to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions and achieved remarkable milestones in the field of educational measurement and evaluation.

The second day of the conference showcased concurrent paper presentations that featured two of CEM's research projects, titled "Bridging the Reading Literacy Gap: Identifying the Socioemotional Factors that Foster Reading Literacy among JHS with Reading Difficulties" and "Enhancing Junior High School Students Reading Literacy by Examining the Connections Between Performance, Reading Habits, and Attitude: A Case Study," which were presented by our researchers, Angeline Mercado and Noelyn Curutan, respectively.

PEMEA was established by the graduates of the Institute of Educational Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics (IEMES), a consortium scholarship program of De La Salle University supported by the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE) and CEM.
